Martin is the founder and Senior Software Architect for Whiteboard-IT. He has a
unique ability as a programmer to make projects intuitive for end-users. Besides
his extensive knowledge and experience developing applications, Martin also has
the ability to translate general ideas into complex code. End result, with Martin
you don’t have to be a programmer to speak with him. Just tell him what you want
and he can make it happen.
Martin graduated with a BS in Computer Sciences from Birmingham-Southern College.
During his college years, besides concentrating on his studies, he experimented
with Artificial Intelligence (A.I.) and network security. Martin along with a few
fellow students constructed various network schemas and exploited weaknesses. Afterwards
they found ways to reinforce these weaknesses to make many popular business network
schemas more secure.
After college Martin began programming for AmSouth Bank located in Birmingham, AL.

of a Web/Lotus Notes based application for conference registration & management.
Some of the features include: Roommate Pairing using request emails and email notification
of acceptance or denial by the preferred roommate
DHTML tabbed interface, validation, and registration summary
Ability for the user to manage flight options.
Backend Management using a Lotus Notes Client: Many different views for reporting
and reference. Sorted and grouped by roommates/flight #, ...
· Lead Developer of a
Web/Lotus Notes application for Activity Tracking.
Large user base: >1000. Notable features of this app include:
User Profile that dictates who has permission to view or edit each users documents.
DHTML Navigation bar.
Export all Reports to Excel
· Co-Developer of Consumer
Activity Tracking (.Net) Web Application (SQL db)
This was a role driven application – A Role Management System was built to support
the app.
Reporting level was dependant on role and location.
Ability to add/edit measures/goals/activities all role dependant.
Used windows integrated security to identify and authenticate users. Anyone
with a network logon was automatically granted access and recognized by their login
id.
· Sole developer and designer
of Overdraft Protection .Net Web App (SQL db)
Uses a DTS package to pull in available account #s.
Users use app to retrieve available Overdraft account #s based on criteria entered.
Reporting piece, Navbar, & integrated security
· Sole developer on a
Java app that converts afp files to pdf and deposits information about the account
to an SQL db.
The pdfs files and information are account statements that are later used in a eStatements
application.
· Sole developer on a
Java / Web Application for Marketing. A Customer CMS (Contact Management
System) with customizable email templates and mass email capabiltiy with reporting
on # of emails read, delivered, and sent.
