Frank Nelson Building

Whiteboard-IT found it’s home in the Frank Nelson Building in early September of 2010. We’ve grown quite a bit since starting out in a 2B/2B apartment. Located on the 10th floor, we truly feel comfortable in this historic and extraordinary building.

The Frank Nelson Building is Birmingham’s 3rd oldest skyscraper. Construction started in 1896, and was completed in 1903. It contains over 1,600 tons of locally-produced steel, and it’s foundations go 30-40 feet under street level. FNB has been in continuous operation for almost 110 years. Although it has historically catered to the legal profession, it has a long history of retail, political, medical and dental, restaurant, health and beauty, and all sorts of professional tenancies. The longest-term tenant has been here for 45 years.
